How are tools ranked or sorted on Shypd?

By their Shypd Confidence Score. Our proprietary quality metric based on weighted signals including website presence, description quality, meta tags, pricing transparency, founder info, and ratings. Every score is generated through our AEO-focused enrichment pipeline. That said, we want tool makers to be our partners in building Shypd into something truly useful for anyone onboarding AI into their life and business. Can I filter tools by pricing (free, freemium, paid)?

Very soon. We're building the filter system right now.give us a few days. It's at the top of our feature wishlist because we know how important pricing is for everyday tool explorers on Shypd.

How does Shypd verify the tools listed on the platform?

Every tool goes through a multi-step AEO-focused enrichment pipeline: we crawl the website to confirm it works, scrape meta and OG data, generate an independent AI-written description, cross-check pricing and founder info, and calculate a Shypd Confidence Score from a set of weighted components.

What is the Shypd Confidence Score and how does it work?

It's our proprietary quality metric (0-100%) that measures how confident we are that a tool exists, works, and is what it claims. Based on a set of weighted signals.the higher the score, the more confident we are about your tool. Claiming your tool boosts your score by 15% straight. We take “What You See Is What You Get” very seriously.

Will the Shypd Confidence Score methodology change over time?

Yes. We're currently on version 2.version 1 had its own set of flaws, and we learned from them. The Shypd Confidence Score will continue to mature based on the data and feedback Team Shypd receives. The goal stays the same: ensure “What You See Is What You Get” for everyone exploring AI tools on Shypd.

How often is tool information updated on Shypd?

Continuously. We run GEO and AEO-focused enrichment pipelines that re-crawl tool websites, add new tools, and recalculate Shypd Confidence Scores after each round. Once you claim your tool, you can edit your listing as often as you like. All updates go through our verification process to keep things accurate.

Where does Shypd get its data from?

25+ sources, including GitHub, HuggingFace, App Store, Google Play Store, YC directories, and direct web crawls. All descriptions are original, generated through our AEO enrichment pipeline. We never copy from the tool's own marketing.

Click "Submit a Tool" on the home page ( shypd.ai/submit). Give us your tool's name, URL, category, and a brief description. There's a one-time $25 lifetime listing fee. Our pipeline will crawl your site, run AEO-focused enrichment, and assign a Shypd Confidence Score.

How do I claim my tool's listing on Shypd?

Head to "Claim Your Tool" ( shypd.ai/claim). Verify your email, provide tool details, and pay the one-time $25 lifetime fee. Claiming boosts your Shypd Confidence Score by up to 15 points and lets you update your listing directly.

What if my tool doesn't have a website yet?

No worries.we just need the address to your digital home. Add your GitHub link, HuggingFace page, or any other repository where your tool is breathing and thriving on the internet.

Can I update my tool's information after claiming it?

Once you've claimed your tool, you can edit your listing details, update pricing, and add information directly. If you run into any issues, just write to us at [email protected].

Is claiming or submitting a tool on Shypd a paid service?

Yes. You pay a small fee of $25 for a solid digital footprint for life for your tool. That's it.one payment, forever listed.
