AIDE by Weco, powered by AIDE ML, is an LLM-powered code optimization agent designed for machine learning engineering. It autonomously generates and tests candidate code solutions, keeping improvements and discarding failed attempts. The platform can optimize code for various metrics, including AUC for fraud detection, accuracy for prompt engineering, speedup for inference optimization, and RMSLE for scientific ML. It works with any language that prints a metric to stdout, such as Python, C++, Rust, and JS. Weco ensures data privacy by running evaluation code locally on the user's machine, only sending diffs and metric values to its cloud agent, and never using user code to train models. Users retain full intellectual property rights over the generated code.

How does AIDE by Weco ensure my code and data privacy?

Your code and data remain on your machine, with evaluations running locally. The Weco agent in the cloud only sees proposed diffs and metric values, not your training data, model weights, or private inputs. Your code is never used to train models.

Can I use my own LLM API keys with AIDE by Weco?

Yes, you can bring your own OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini API keys (BYOK). This routes LLM calls through your provider, billed directly by them. A small amount of platform credit is still used for Weco's orchestration.

How much does it cost to use AIDE by Weco?

Weco offers 20 free credits, equivalent to about 100 optimization steps. Each step costs a fraction of a cent plus the LLM tokens used. Typical small-scale runs range from $10–$30. You can also use your own LLM API keys.
