What are AI credits and how do they work?

AI credits power HTMLPub's built-in AI editor. One credit equals approximately one AI-assisted edit or page generation. The Free plan includes 5,000 credits as a one-time grant, plus 1,000 per week up to a 5,000 cap. Paid plans replenish monthly, with Starter getting 20,000 and Pro 60,000 credits/month.

What is the MCP connector?

The MCP (Model Context Protocol) connector allows you to connect HTMLPub directly to AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT, or automation platforms like n8n and Make. This enables your AI to publish pages to HTMLPub directly, bypassing manual copy-pasting of HTML.

What happens to my pages if I cancel or downgrade?

On the Free plan, pages expire after 7 days. If you cancel a paid plan, your pages will be unpublished but your content is saved. Resubscribe anytime to bring them back online. If downgrading, your account reverts to the free plan, keeping up to 5 pages, but these will also expire after 7 days.

Can I use my own custom domain?

Yes, you can use your own custom domain. The Starter plan includes 1 custom domain, the Pro plan includes 5, and the Business plan includes 15. You'll point a CNAME record to HTMLPub, and SSL certificates are handled automatically.

Can I edit a page after publishing?

Currently, published pages cannot be directly edited. If changes are needed, you must delete the existing page and upload a new version. It's recommended to test your HTML locally before publishing to ensure the desired appearance.
