FAQs
What is NurseChartingPro used for?
NurseChartingPro helps nurses turn structured patient assessments into professional clinical narratives and SBAR handoff reports in seconds. It supports psychiatric, med-surg, home health, and long-term care workflows. All patient data is AES-256 encrypted on-device and crypto-shredded at the end of the shift, so no PHI ever leaves the phone.
Is NurseChartingPro HIPAA compliant?
Yes. All PHI is encrypted with AES-256 and stored locally on the device, with keys held in iOS Keychain or Android Keystore. There is no cloud storage of patient data, and the encryption key is destroyed at the end of the shift via crypto-shredding. Only de-identified text is sent to the AI provider for narrative generation.
Which nursing specialties does NurseChartingPro support?
Two specialty modes ship today: Psychiatric (mental status, thought process, safety, speech, function) and Clinical (vitals, Morse Fall Scale, Glasgow Coma Scale, skin and wound, IV lines, head-to-toe). Nurses can chart both psych and clinical patients in the same shift.
