What is the typical accuracy of DraftAid's AI-generated drawings?
DraftAid achieves up to 80-90% accuracy after training on your companyβs drawing data. The AI learns your specific drawing standards and generates drawings that are largely complete within your CAD system, requiring minimal manual adjustments.
Which CAD software does DraftAid integrate with?
DraftAid directly integrates with SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor through an in-app plugin. While it supports input from STEP files and 3D models, it does not currently integrate with CATIA, Siemens NX, AutoCAD, Creo, or Fusion 360.
How is DraftAid priced and is there a minimum drawing volume required?
DraftAid's pricing is customized based on your volume of drawings and the level of customization needed, offered as an annual license. It is optimized for companies generating at least 200+ drawings per month and is not designed for one-off or very low-volume drafting needs.
What types of parts and drawings does DraftAid support?
DraftAid supports aluminum extrusions, rectangular machined parts, beams, sheet metal, turned, and milled parts. It generates fully detailed mechanical part drawings, key-feature drawings, and flat patterns with bend notes. GD&T support is also planned for future releases.
Can DraftAid use my existing drawing templates and add notes?
Yes, DraftAid generates drawings that match your uploaded template, defining layout, sheet size, and annotation style. Additional information, such as notes in the title block or general notes, can also be added to the drawings.
